Part 3: How Do We As Believers Allow The Holy Spirit To Operate In Our Lives

Applying Instructions and Teachings

I will present somethings we need to allow the Spirit of God to do and operative in our lives:

(1) We should allow the Holy Spirit to pray prayers in each situation when we do not know what we should pray for. This is done when we start to pray in tongues, because we are dealing with spiritual matters, and we must seek God by His Spirit to give us insight on situations in our lives, others, and His perspective on life.

(2) When the Holy Spirit is waking us up in the mid-morning we need to begin to pray and let Him lead us to the scripture (s) we need to read, or drop information into our spirit, and once this happens, we need to start writing what we feel the Lord has spoken to us about. When we do this, we build confidence in ourselves as to what was spoken comes to pass.

(3) When the Holy Spirit starts showing us something in prayer or in His word about a situation, job, family member, and He gives us just a word, even maybe a color, a symbol, an animal, or an illustration in the Bible. We need to then start researching to see what it is He is trying to convey to us. Once we do this, the Lord will start to give us more information. We must seek out more than just what the Holy Spirit has placed before us. He wants us to dig deeper.

(4) We also need to teach this to our children in the home, so that, they can learn to have a relationship with their Creator, and they will be able to trust Him when they become adults. Application must start in the home.

(5) Most important, we need to make it our daily practice to speak in tongues on a daily basis because when we do this, we are allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us and through us. We are meeting God where He is because God is Spirit, and our spirit needs to talk to God's Spirit. When we do this, we are allowing the Holy Spirit to show us what God wants us to know what is going on in heaven and the heavenly rims, so that, we know how to combat things here on earth.

It is imperative, that these steps are followed for your own growth and for your children's growth. We must get back to what matters and walk in power, so that, we can make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew, 28:18-20, NIV).

I want to recap on what we have discuss in this teaching:

(1) We must read scriptures on the Holy Spirit, in order to identify with Him.

(2) We must recognize the characteristics of the Holy Spirit.

(3) We must follow the simple steps that the Holy Spirit has shown to walk in power.

I pray that everyone who reads this blog will get an understanding on how to grasp what the Lord is wanting us as believers to understand about the Holy Spirit, as well as, knowing if we are not walking in all of His power we will fall. The Bibles says, "Even some of the elect will be decide" (Matthew, 24:24, NIV). I pray that you hunger after the Holy Spirit because there is no self-help book, mind over matter philosophy, or any of these other positive thinking doctrines that will give you what only the Holy Spirit can.
