July 07, 2025Dear Friend of PBS,
Thanks to you, and so many more Americans, Congress has received millions of emails and calls in support of PBS. We have been touched by the messages that have been sent, with so many people sharing why PBS is such an important part of their life.
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, our funding is more endangered now than ever before.
In June, the House voted to zero-out funding for PBS, and now the Senate is considering these cuts. If our funding is eliminated, it endangers so many crucial services PBS and our member stations provide: from educational programming for people of all ages to emergency alerts.
It’s not too late to protect PBS!
The Senate is finalizing these cuts, so there’s still time to make your voice heard. Contact your Senator and sign up for alerts at ProtectMyPublicMedia.org.
PBS belongs to the American people, in fact, I would argue that there is nothing more American than PBS. We empower people to build a better life for themselves and their families. We represent and serve all communities. And we make our country stronger.
Our work has only been possible because of the support of viewers like you. Now, at one of the most crucial moments in our history, we need your help more than ever before. Together, we can fight for PBS, and protect our vital service. Thank you for taking action today! Warmly, Paula Kerger |
Take a stand for the local stations and programs you love |
